Michał Miauczyński (Wojciech Wysocki) an inhabitant of an unsightly block of flats where a “vampire” at large is sexually harassing women, feels that his live is passing him by. His boring existence comprises never-ending struggle with the surrounding world and unsatisfactory life with his wife, whom he wishes he could kill but is afraid to thus ruin his life. Discrepancy between his unfulfilled ambitions and disappointing reality is a source of aggression, his eternal resentments towards the world, and escapism. Frustrated, Miauczynski finds relief in humiliating his wife, evening walks when he indulges in his addiction (being an unsuccessful smoking quitter) and in fantasising about sexual relations with his neighbours.
