„Someone else’s soul – a dark forest” – this is “The Lake’s” Key phrase. The film tells the tale of his wife’s death, tries to uncover a secret she left behind her. It is a story of tangled interpersonal relationships and the striving to recover a lost time. The eponymous lake is enchanting in its beauty, yet it is not a friend to everyone. The need to rediscover emotions which have died in him and his uncontrolled urge to lay bare the mystery of the Lake lead the central character ever deeper into its abyss.
