A lonely and monotonous life of a railway watchman living in a small secluded station in the middle of the forest goes by in the rhythm of passing trains. He spends his free time playing the trumpet. There is a young woman on a bike who regularly appears near the station but meetings with her still remain only an unfulfilled opportunity for closer contact. There comes a day, however, when the watchman’s fate can change. “The Railway Watchman” if a film debut by Piotr Szczepaniowicz.
