The documentary depicts everyday life of residents of the first in Poland rehabilitation centre for drug addicts, set up in Gloskowo near Garwolin by a clinical psychologist Marek Kotański. Aesthetically austere, deprived of author’s commentary the documentary was filmed in an entirely different manner than earlier documentary impressions i.e. by means of constant observation method. Interviews and footage the crew had been collating for nine months made for an interesting report from a rehab centre, abounding with difficult and harsh moments. The film presented also the therapeutic communities method, unique as it was at that time in Poland (at present MONAR Association runs almost 150 centres in the whole country).
