Adaś Miauczyński, H.M. Deserter and Colonel Kwiatkowski in one person; prominent Polish actor Marek Kondrat, this year’s special guest at the 6th Two Riversides Film and Art Festival. The popular and respected connoisseur of wine will come to Kazimierz to meet the audience as a part of the invariable “And God Created Actor” series.

Marek Kondrat is an artist of many faces. In Polish cinema, he embodied both the masculine type known from action films, as well as the frustrated intellectual in the films by Marek Koterski, the hero of this year’s retrospective. We will see all of the films on which those two artists worked together: “The House of Fools”/“Dom wariatów” (1984), “Nothing Funny”/“Nic śmiesznego” (1995), “The Day of the Wacko”/“Dzień świra” (2002), and “We’re All Christs”/“Wszyscy jesteśmy Chrystusami” (2006). Another highlight will be the screening of “Hotel Pacific”/“Zaklęte rewiry” (1976) by Janusz Majewski, where the actor played the first of his important film roles, gaining great recognition from the very beginning and winning the best debut award.
