The film is a poetic impression. It is an attempt of the main character – Irma – to face her past and present. Real and past times are strongly interwoven here. Pictures from childhood, breakthrough events in mature life and finally allegoric run through the woods, representing Irma’s emotional state, become a psychological study of a feminine soul. Unique sensitivity of the main character, a writer, is reflected in expressive poetics of the film that frequently transcends into surreal, symbolic convention.
