“The cinema was here” is not only a film on old cinemas in Bydgoszcz of which there were over 20 in the previous age . The film is first of all a tale on passing away and a journey into the world of human memories. The author puts two chairs from the Pomorzanin Cinema in places where in Bydgoszcz there were once cinemas and invites passers-by to a conversation.

Krzysztof Nowicki (1980)
Director, initiator and founder of “Stealthapple” film group. At present, involved in “KolorOFFon” group set up in 2008 and specializing in documentaries and promoting short films through regular screenings in “Mózg” club in Bydgoszcz. The author of, inter alia, “The World’s Oldest Man”, “Reggae is my life”, “Journey through life with no rush” or the recently awarded film “The Pool”.
