On one of sleepless nights, lying next to his wife he no longer cares for Michał (Zbigniew Rola), a forty year old husband and father, recollects the women of his life. Seventeen love stories – or erotic ones to be more exact – lead him to a bitter conclusion: searching for ideal love made him live a lonely life, with a sense of unfulfillment that he unsuccessfully drowns out with sexual experiences.

Koterski himself admitted that “Porn” is in a way a pornographic film: the source of its pornographic nature was to consist in the main character’s sphere of emotions and pathological perception of the world and of women especially. Placed by the critics on the border of art and commercial cinema, the film, owing to its title and nudity within, attracted to cinemas over a million Poles which made it the most frequently watched film in 1990.
