Bartosz Konopka’s feature debut is a story about a young TV reporter, Tomek, who leads a very orderly life. One day he finds out that his father was put in a mental institution, and he is the only person who can help him. Tomek takes this as an opportunity to sell his father’s apartment without his knowledge. With each visit in the hospital he goes deeper into the world of madness and finds out the truth about himself.

“Fear of Falling” received a warm welcome from the audience and critics at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia; the film impresses not only with great performances from the leading cast (Marcin Dorociński and Krzysztof Stroiński), but also with the role of Magdalena Popławska, who won the Zbyszek Cybulski Award. The visuals, polished up to the smallest detail, gained much acclaim.
