A musical documentary based on the biography of Trevor Anderson’s ancestor, whose vivid life remained a family secret for many years. Even as a child Jimmy felt he was different from his brothers – mechanics who played baseball in the local team in their free time. After coming back from the army Jimmy found his place on Broadway, where he performed  successfully. However, the life of a New York playboy got him into a mental institution where he met Judy Garland, who was dealing with similar problems at the time.
