A day in life of a Polish intellectual, Adam Miauczyński (Marek Kondrat), in his forties, facing unfriendly reality and his own obsessions. The play “Day of the wacko”, which gave grounds to the screenplay of the film, originated from a motto from Small letters by Slawomir Mrozek: “The most difficult thing is to live through the next five minutes. Life – is the next five minutes. Most often you need to take something from one place and put it somewhere else and then back onto the same place again, get up, sit down, go, react. A yet there is no other life just the next five minutes. The rest is imagination.”
